Think probably Space Harrier if spritey 3d counts. Mario 64 is the first one I really remember as being a distinctly different experience than 2d gaming though. Like the day I got an n64 I remember starting that fucker up and, like, feeling my brain change to accommodate it.

sadly, this is largely true. However, OoT is still the best Zelda game and Mystical Ninja starring Goemon is still great (Space Station Silicon Valley is probably still pretty cool too). Basically, it was a platform that was exceedingly good for early 3d action/adventure games and very little else.
