some arcade cabinet i played with my cousin, some kind of precursor to virtual-on style games. i can't even remember the drat thing's name now though, not that i knew it in the first place

probably not, i remember something darker with more brown and navy. couldn't have come out much later than 96, but i swear i must've played it before mario 64.

could be the second one, but even that's too colorful. the only other thing i remember is that it was a cockpit-style cabinet--probably the first one i'd ever seen--and the machines were back-to-back and the game itself was designed for versus matches between two players
