The new scrubs my company provides don't have pockets, most of the remaining old stock are missing drawstrings and made for Urkle like wear.

I occasionally have to work up a sweat for up to 3 hours or so doing somewhat rad related construction.

But it pays pretty good, is union, steady, and has occasional non mandatory overtime opportunities.

I have Google Fi for my cellular service. And lately the coverage has been so lovely I am ready to switch.
Try switching manually with signal spy / dialer codes.. at least figure out what networks are dogshit at your frequent locations before you switch with it.

I just downloaded it because I'll be in a building at work that TMobile doesn't work in at all, but I know US Cellular does. It's a shame it never seems to learn that though.

Lying on my side when I sleep is comfy but I can’t do it anymore because it makes my back hurt now. :( Also my back just hurts in general. Probably because I keep rolling into my side in my sleep. I’m not 30 until next year, body, wtf
At any given moment 500 million people worldwide are suffering from lower back pain.

The curse of walking upright I guess.

My strategy is squats and deadlifts from doing the starting strength beginners program, there's a thread on it.

It cures back pain pretty quick, but I foolishly lifted too much with bad form and aggravated my sciatic nerve, so be careful.

Turns out a strong back supports your spine better and can take a lot of the sting out of any bad/slipped disks, maybe even work them back in place.

I can't seem to change my phone ring tone to Brittney Spears' inspirational classic hit, "Work Bitch." The tune and even small clips from it just aren't searchable on the ringtone app I pull notification/rings off of.
If you have a computer you can rip samples and convert formats to ringtone file formats/lengths.

I've used it to make custom ringtones years ago from a Genesis game, I never understood people using those sketchy af ringtone sites or paying for them.
I usually stick with the default android ones, but that's what I'd do if the feeling hit me.

You need a computer and cable to connect to it or a wireless way to transfer the file though.

Duluth trading company buck naked boxer/briefs are great! You can't feel them and forget you are wearing them most of the time.

I even wear them under swim trunks for added comfort.

I try to reconnect with people all the time but only a few reciprocate. The onus isn't only on you.

It worked last time though, a buddy who moved out of state expressed interest in playing VR casino games with me, he doesn't even have VR and I've never tried it, but I'm game.

I bought whisper quiet, top of the line ceiling fans when I got my first house like 3 years ago and still haven't replaced them. I also have a new garage door opener that's still in the box.

I've worked in construction 16 years!

I just received a laptop and it is fantastic. Couldn't have asked for anything better. EXCEPT...it has one, single dead pixel. :geno:
For sure see about warranty, but when my old monitor did this I googled a solution and they said try poking it with a pencil eraser, it fixed it, then I just started poking with my finger when the pixel flipped.

I work a shitload of overtime (ten hours per week.
And here I thought me working 70-72 hrs a week or 11-13 days in a row of 10's was a shitload.

Like you said it's union and anything over 40 is optional, but I try to spread the punishment with my coworkers.
I'm also government so I do occasionally luck into some work like tie this lifeline rope for another construction craft, then remove it at the end of the day, thanks! Collect $400

While probably a bigger problem in the third world...

My state doesn't do emissions testing and people love their lifted diesel trucks and ancient straight piped vehicles that bypass the catalytic converter or just don't maintain them.

Anytime I switch my car from recirculate on the vents I get a big whiff of nastier than normal exhaust from a vehicle a few car lengths in front of me pretty quick.

Sucks when I just need a little defrost action, I'm perhaps more sensitive to those smells than most.

Thankfully opening a window or 2 a few inches can clear the smell out pretty quick or even lingering skunk smells.
