I'm knocking up a 3d printed building for DZC, and have done a test print.

I think the windows need to be deeper and more detailed, and I need to smooth the balcony a bit. But how does it look to you guys scale wise?

This is the corner of one floor, if your not sure.

Dropped the height to 15mm from 18mm, deepened the windows and the balcony prints without a bridge. Thinned the walls down a bit as well.

25% reduction in print time and materials.

About 200g? I think cutting the windows out may save print time and materials, not sure yet how much it would cut out.
Now to work on some more!

Edit

Ground floor (Columns +3 floors)- 94g
Middle 4 floors - 84g *can be stacked as high as you would want
Roof 35g
213 grams total, or for me, about £4 of filament.

This thing without the roof is 125g apparently.

Someone on facebook confirmed the new damage is Energy+1d6 vs Armour.

So much simpler!

Incy posted:

Scourge aren't taking their heavy tanks ever though, as the low arm means they get blown off the table in one shot by too many things.

Yeah, they have the same armour as the normal tanks, and only 2 HP - meaning they are easy to crit off the board with any decent gun, and having both guns in one turret means they will do a lot of damage to a single target, but can be easily overwhelmed.

Sounds good. Light commanders sound useful if your going to hide at the back and throw cards out. Saves on points.

I'm repainting my Scourge army, and hashing out a more organic look, but I'm a bit stumped as to what colour to do the eyes.

Any ideas?

I've always been viewing them as collectors prices. It's like titans in 40k, impressive models, but in no way practiable.

To be fair, the starter boxes are great value.

Well, Dave is back in control of writing the rules - Dropezone 2 was TTC religating him to model design - so I'm at least hopeful.

DFC is a fun game, but the ground combat takes over a very good ship game.
