It reminds me of some of the photo collections the Library of Congress has online. They sent photographers all over the country to record the state of things and there's a lot of "documentary" shots like that.

It goes back even further than that, it started back before color was invented when villains would tie girls to the rails. So it's good to see some progress on that front.

For me it was my first full day at a new job, figured I'd picked a cool place to be if everyone stood around all morning watching tv. Don't remember how long after that I stayed ignorant, but I know I watched none of it live. Crazy there was a world where we didn't all have the internet in our pocket 24/7.
