Let's hope the trend continues, the top 14 riders in testing were separated by less than 1 second:

Going to try and watch MotoGP this season since F1 is a total wash so far with Mercedes completely crushing everyone. Hopefully this will be more entertaining with the bikes being a bit more evenly matched!

Pretty soon now, Pastor is going to start knocking out race leaders left and right, and we'll have some proper racing for the top step.

I guess since no one posted about it that I wasn't the only one who forgot that WSBK was in Thailand.

Is there anywhere to watch the SBK in the States that isn't shelling out monopoly money on the site or ?

I think you can buy a video pass just like MotoGP

Verr posted:Is there anywhere to watch the SBK in the States that isn't shelling out monopoly money on the site or ? BeIN shows them in the US. Annoyingly in some regions Comcast includes it, and in others it's part of a sports package. Depending on where you live, there are also some dealerships and bars that have watching parties. When I lived in Denver I used to watch the races at The Walnut Room, which had a Ducati 998 over the bar and was owned by a local club racer.

I dunno what it's like this year but BeIN had awful commentators last year.

Johnny Rea probably cost himself 2-3 WSBK titles by being loyal to Honda. Pole, wire to wire with the fastest lap in both races now that he's finally off that shitbox CBR1000rr.

Ya, he smashed that poo poo out. Kudos to Lowes in race 1, crashed and still got a good position finish.

I've been yelling at the screen for 3 years while that brilliant talent was wasted on the Honda. My moneys on Rae for the championship. Sykes usually takes a few rounds to get into the flow but I'm not sure he has the dominant edge anymore.

I am a little surprised by Suzuki but I am pretty sure Aleix can ride anything, it looks like it might be another Honda start of the year though.

Anyone know of anywhere in Seattle that will be showing the race live? Barring that anywhere that will be showing it later? My usual method of borrowing it from the Internet will not work this year and goddamn is the site pass expensive, although so will be going to a bar each time to watch the races so I'll probably get the pass anyways.

Go to a place that has TVs and say turn on this channel they'll do it for you. It looks like it's only going to be on SDTV though until Monday which sucks. Hopefully my boy Dovi will do a thing instead of being a perpetual disappointment.

Well Ducati now has the winglets to help hold the front end down. We'll see if that helps translate to race pace. It's drat good to see a mix of manufacturers scrapping it out instead of a Honda/Yamaha show. Let's hope this keeps up all season.

Having only watched the GP race I have to say: gently caress the Spanish! Before the race I was thinking it'd be honda/yam fighting at the front with the ducati's close behind, never expected for duc and honda to have swapped places.

I'm disappointed Dovi didn't win but I can't really hold it against him losing to Rossi. I'll think he'll get at least one this year though if that bikes already so strong after just 2 tests and a race.
