I think this was the intro cinematic and owned too. It's also cool how all the tracks (I think) from gh1 were covers done in house

I think guitar hero 3 was the first one where they actually got to use the master tracks for the game

It was extremely powerful but my tremolo bar broke before I got to it making it impossible to win the campaign.

Was it misery business. That song is extremely fun to play and sing at the same time. I wish they had done animations for that, instead of perpetually having a four person band, you could have a guitarist/singer or whatever

Lots of wasted potential on those games. I still probably spent more time playing them than any other game except Diablo II LOD

Strumming in only one direction is the Rock Band equivalent of using a shield in Dark Souls.

the note charts aren't as complicated as a lot of the gh3 ones but the timing for hopos and picking is waaaaaaaay more strict.

The only one I remember liking much was the Smashing Pumpkin song in World Tour, and the Steely Dan song in that, but I never really got into the game much. That's the only one I played and I played it on PC with a Hitbox, in drumming mode.

'Hitch a Ride' by Boston was my drum warmup song and also has a really fun guitar solo.

I have a modded out Ion Drum Rocker that I haven't used in ages which I got to take out recently and discovered my 360's DVD drive is busted. The only reason I keep my 360 around is for when the stars align and I get to play this one dumb toy rhythm game and now I'm in a crisis.

Frets on Fire and Phase Shift are both good times with toy instruments + the music.

Gotta have a 360 dongle, though
