How did FITL go? Although I knew I wouldn't be able to make it for this weekend, I would like at some point to try a COIN game on VASSAL.

To go quickly is foolish. To go slowly is prudent. Not to go; that is wisdom.
I don't know what the tech guys at work have done, but suddenly I can access boardgame arena.

Is the US-available Brettspeilwett client as atrocious as it seems? Like, late 90's Java with only a dash of English translation? They have Imperial which I just got into but their client just blows.

It's awful. Just find another game to play on a service that isn't from 1988.

I know that feel. The "average" BGA Tash-Kalar player is absolutely brutal.

You know, I've got a funny feeling I've seen this all before.
I'm playing Quantum on BGA and for some reason I didn't expect it to be this ameritrash. Dice rolls, politics and tiny card markets everywhere.

It's not Ameritrash, though. It doesn't have more game pieces than decisions, it isn't blinged out, and politics is part of any game with player interaction that seats more than two.

I'm not saying it's purestrain ameritrash but it somehow feels even less Euro than, say, Chaos in the Old World. I think it's the lack of bling that tricked me.

It's not bad and I'd play it with a group that could finish in ~45 minutes but I'm less impressed than I thought I would be given the only bad thing I've really heard about it is 'sticky dice'.

Anyone else have problems (and hopefully a solution) accessing BGA on a smartphone? A couple weeks ago I was fine, now whenever I try to log in I get "unexpected error: hidden for security reasons"

Chrome on a galaxy S5 if that helps.

One of the key problems in the analysis of this puzzling book is to be able to differentiate a real language from meaningless writing.
Which of the online Twilight Struggle implementations are good? Or am I better off just waiting for the official version? My only experience was with the VASSAL module (fine) and WGR (unusable).
