One of 12 senior 1LTs/junior CPTs in the battalion 3 shop right now. I come in and do PT. Check my e-mail. Nothing to do. Go to lunch. Go to the gym. Go home by 1500 every day.

I watched as my PL friends in other companies with good commanders (who deflected a lot of bullshit from battalion and up) get away with a lot of stuff and did really good things with their platoons. My commander didn't give two fucks about anything other than his OER and drove the morale of the company into the ground.

It feels good to finally say lol at anyone still in the military. After getting my DD214 I went out to dinner with friends still in, and they told me that their battalion commander said that their side burns were at a 200 pt score level, and if they wanted to get them to a 300 pt score level they would have to cut them above their ear lobe. Who knew that when you reached field grade level that you would be forced to get a lobotomy.
