I don't remember listening to that much Pavement/Stephen Malkmus, but I must have I guess.

The album playcount is kind of misleading. It just counts the number of plays of tracks from that album, not how many times you've listened to the whole album. For example, if you listen to "Jo Jo's Jacket" 50 times, but don't listen to anything else by Stephen Malkmus, it will still show up as 50 plays of the album Stephen Malkmus. Artist playcount is generally a better indicator of overall taste.

Liking this. I'd recommend you Breather Resist, Noisear, Harlots, Crowpath and Shoemaker Levy 9, based on the mathcore and grind in there. Mathcore is something I've really been into lately, so I can give more recs if you want any

cf posted:I love mathcore: a very real genre. I'm sorry the genre experts don't approve of my statement but I think it's a useful term to categorize some bands, and I thought it would be nice to give someone recommendations for something he might like. I see that that wasn't a wise decision. (Glad there's no Sonata Arctica in my top 25, then it'd be even harder to be taken seriously) Gamma Nerd fucked around with this message at 04:59 on Mar 8, 2015 |

Wow there's a ton of Coil in this thread. Ape of Naples would have been in my top 25 for a long time, and it's still a great album IMO.nomapple posted:Cheers! I've heard Noisear, but not any of the others. I'll get on it! No prob, man.

post 2000's skinny puppy is unfortunately, not very good. at that point forward it is better to listen to Download or cEvin Key solo albums instead. but there is no reason ever to be ashamed of Too Dark Park or Last Rights
