I'm a Crashplan user so is Duplicati pretty easy to setup? Minimal maintenance?

Are there any good guides anywhere on getting Duplicati setup with Backblaze? I’ve sort of got it done I think but I’m getting errors and the Duplicati help page is very technical.

Is there an easy way to get Duplicati to send me emails about my backups? Basically like Crashplan did. I saw a How To on the Duplicati site but it looks really complicated to set up.
