drat, backblaze doesn't support uploading shared drives or Linux. I have a file dump workstation running Fedora that I turn on every couple months or so. I was gonna go through the effort to upload that to Crashplan but obviously that's not an option going forward.

Fragrag posted:I just switched to a Duplicati+BackblazeS2 setup last weekend. It's all pretty straightforward, I had it set up and running in less than an hour. It looks pretty snazzy and close to what Crashplan has. I want something with versioning, Linux client, multiple PCs, at a price around what crashplan offers. Since B2 doesn’t seem to care where the data comes from I’m set. The way I use crashplan now is basically like this anyway, I upload it and it sits there until my HD dies.

Crashplan shutting down really sucks. I'm gonna bite the bullet and get duplicati+B2 going soon. I'd probably just use the Backblaze client but I have a little linux file server that I'd like to capture too.

Duplicati is pretty popular. I use it myself
