I was browsing my ebay auction history today and hit major nostalgia when I remembered I had 4 Touchpad at one point (yeah I got in that 99 fever just like everyone else). And then I saw my "phone history" jpg I made back in the days when HD2 was the poo poo and swapping phones twice a year was a big deal. So I decided to update my phone picture. I got to say even though I swap phones alot sooner nowadays, I pretty much stop chasing all the cutting edge stuff but have became very adventurous in the carrier department. I may have posted a similar thread a few years ago now that I think about it. Let's see your phone history picture. Sorry about the size. Oh here is a bonus Touchpad photo whatever7 fucked around with this message at 07:25 on Mar 9, 2015 |

In reverse order, starting from my current phone. iPhone 6+ iPhone 5S (work) HTC One M7 Blackberry Bold (work) iPhone 4S HTC Evo 3D HTC Evo 4G Palm Pre (RIP) Helio Mysto LG VX8100 Before that I had a few flip phones including a Startac and something I'm almost sure was an early LG phone but I can't remember anything else. And before that a pager. Of all of them, the Palm Pre was my favorite at the time. SLOSifl fucked around with this message at 16:26 on Mar 9, 2015 |

I've still got my Palm Pre in a box and take it out every once in a while. Still wish they'd make a modern version of it, WebOS was amazing. Edit: Also forgot I used my old flip phone to spread butter on my toast when I was a poor because I really wanted butter but knives were hard to come by and come on my phone was right there cage-free egghead fucked around with this message at 16:52 on Mar 9, 2015 |

This is easy. LG Vantage, Nexus S, Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, iPhone 6. I had the Vantage until my 3 year (yay Canada) contract ran out because all I needed was a phone anyway, and data plans in Canada sucked. Still do, but not as much. Looking at release dates the Nexus S was already getting old by the time I got it, but I think I lucked out not getting a Galaxy Nexus since all I hear is horror stories there. The Nexus S was showing its age pretty quickly though so I upgraded early for the Galaxy S4. The Nexus 5 I bought direct from Google and sold the S4. Then Apple finally made their phones not baby sized anymore so I bought the iPhone direct from Apple and gave the Nexus 5 to my dumb brother who broke his phone. Bell for the Vantage, Rogers for the rest.

Why do any of you think this is at all important? I really don't get the dickwaving over all the phones you've had over the years. "No, my phone is shittiest!" Who cares.

This list-style thread would fit better in the PYF (Post Your Favorite) subforum due to the autism-friendly nature of PYF. Perhaps a moderator would be able to move it to the correct location.

I had a pretty average phone progression. I regret ever having a Motorola Razr. Those things were garbage rear end poo poo. My primitive Nokia flip phone had much better battery life and reliability. Motorola Photon was probably a mistake too, since it was a handicapped Android phone that was never upgraded past Android 2.3, though it wasn't that bad realistically for day-to-day usage.
