 Are we going to have a recommended VN list at the top of the thread? If so, some obvious choices to start off with are Steins; Gate (esp. with the upcoming console release) and Narcissu (available for free on Steam.)

 Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning is now on Steam. It earned an ESRB rating of M without any cuts/changes.
