Rest easy knowing the fate of your team rests in my soft soft hands.  This dynasty is known as the DRAMA-FREE DYNASTY We have 10, that's right, 10 users in this dynasty. SEC PARTY! We actually have 5 goons and 5 players who are simply members of the GroupMe chatroom (https://groupme.com/join_group/9207880/xJ59te). The GroupMe chatroom is a really nice way to schedule games, since you can get their app on your phone and rather than making a bunch of tiny posts here on the forums and maybe even checking "Who's Online" (I can't be the only weirdo who does that when looking for my opponent), just party like it's mIRC. If you get the app, you can customize how you get notifications, so don't freak out and uninstall it if right away you feel like you're getting swamped with junk notifications. I use the website more than the app, though. Wreckus (GT: QuikDrawQuincy) plz join groupme or post more Texas A&M - Eric / GroupMe (GT: xYUNGxMOUNTx) new to this season Ole Miss - CPU / Available Miss St - CPU / Available above rankings are pre-season Keeping with the same rules, I don't think any of us really need to see these, and it's highly doubtful at this point that a new goon is going to join, but here they are with some slight modifications: Rules 1) We don't care about CPU games, just get them done ASAP. Don't take a chance with a sim against a ranked CPU opponent, it could hurt all of us! You can restart as many times as you need to, but please don't do this just to pad stats / win awards. 2) Difficulty: All American vs CPU, All American vs Users / 6 Minute Quarters / No Recruiting Boosters / Ice the Kicker is On / Homefield Advantage is On / Coaches Start at Level 1 3) You must create a coach for this dynasty. 4) No FCS games get on your schedules. With 10 user teams, schedule requests aren't something I'll be looking to ask about, but don't hesitate to message me when it's getting close to the pre-season if you have special requests. 5) If someone is playing like a dick against you, bring it up. If it's becoming a pattern where any particular user is getting complaints, we will handle it and hopefully not lose a player due to it. We'll be advancing to week 1 tonight.

ADVANCED TO WEEK 2 User Game #3 South Carolina (JB) @ #15 Georgia (Nick / GroupMe) Unfortunately had two users who took sims, and both lost. Sims are dangerous! JB, I know you said you were going out of town soon. I'll be out of town next weekend. If Nick can't play before you have to leave, I can put him on AP, or we can see if he'd definitely be able to play right away when you get back. Seems like he's been extra busy lately. Might be SPRING BREAK!!!

ADVANCED TO WEEK 4 User Games #8 Tennessee (ZSB) @ #2 Florida (Dio) Dio survived the sim against Mizzou and jumped to #2 because of it. Everyone else has a CPU game. UGA is on an extended leave of absence right now so he's on AP indefinitely. Hopefully won't be for too long. Note: I go out of town Thurs-Sun this week for my annual poker weekend. So it's unlikely we will even be able to advance until Monday - that means ZSB and Dio have a while to schedule their game.

Dio, ZSB, and Wreckus - well, Dio and ZSB - both of you still having problems with the servers? Just curious - did you ever forward the ports on your routers that EA always suggested for NCAA? Saw a post somewhere else that said forwarding ports helped with the issue. I always had my ports open, so maybe that's why things started working for me sooner.

I guess I could try just advancing the week so everyone has to download an updated dynasty file, and see if that helps? Everyone okay with that? Only me and Mizzou have been able to get our games in this week - and I played mine immediately after the last advance.

ZSB, go ahead and see if you can get your game in. Ole Miss/Alabama need to play too so if they can schedule it quickly enough, I don't want to just sim them with all these server problems. edit - I had already said in the GroupMe that I'd advance on Saturday FYI, didn't see the posts til after. I was able to advance the week today after not being able to yesterday. Unfortunately looks like Florida lost to Kentucky in OT. Tennessee barely pulled it out against Oregon. Let's see if things work better now. I'll post back later with match-ups, not sure if we have any user games.

We advanced. Unfortunately since the website is jacked, I can't get the nice screengrab of all teams with match-ups. WEEK 7 First I'll list the completed games (we just advanced last night, so it's nice that we're progressing again): #7 Mizzou won against AP'd #25 UGA #9 Florida (Dio) lost to #2 LSU (me) #1 SCar (JB) has a game with (unfortunately) AP'd Arky #4 Tenn (ZSB) has a CPU game against Ohio State #11 Alabama is now also unfortunately on AP and will have his game against #13 Kentucky simmed. And then.. #3 Auburn (Wreckus) hosts #20 Ole Miss (Eric / GroupMe) Wreckus, I haven't heard anything from Eric in a while. The league he was running seems dead now due to the server problems, not sure if he's bailed on the game. If I don't hear from him, I'll set him to AP tonight, so please try to get the game done ASAP - I'll definitely be waiting on JB and ZSB, but once their games are done, I'd like to advance. And since you're #3 I don't want you to have to take a sim, especially since you've been getting your CPU games done. If you need more time though, reply to the thread please and I'll accommodate you. (we also have a game in the ACC that we need to play)

No problem. Wreckus, Ole Miss is on AP. He's out for the time being as I suspected. I just let him know I'd tell him if/when the servers start seeming back to normal, but he also had the XP bug so I'm not sure how committed he was to begin with. We're down to the goons in the league + Mizzou now, at least for the time being. Mizzou gets his games in pretty much immediately after we advance, so that's good. But yeah JB, I think you might have been referring to him with the stat padding and his crazy WR stats - but he hasn't restarted any games (I don't think he is even "cool" with doing that, he's used to not being allowed to from his other dynasties). We'll see if he can keep that up when he actually has to play someone, since I think he's only had CPU games so far.

We've advanced. Hate that we've lost so many people (on AP) and that the website no longer works - at least haven't had too many issues in-game for a while now. The only user game here is ZSB vs JB. Wreckus and Dio have CPU games.

(who unfortunately lost 30-31 against UCLA in the sim) Wreckus, let me know when you're available. Yeah, we've lost a lot of the non-goons to AP because of all of these issues. But it does seem like things may be getting back to normal. (definitely to me so far - I know JB is still having trouble, but people on OpSports are also reporting that web recruiting/etc has improved this week for people in their dynasties) I reached out to some of the guys who've gone to AP-land and it sounds like most of them would want to keep playing if things do get back to normal. (also invited a new guy to the GroupMe room and sent him an invite to the dynasty, no idea if he's joined yet or what team he's going to pick) But a lot of them were also having the XP bug before the server issues, and that might be a deal breaker on coming back. Would y'all be down for either rebooting the dynasty (and potentially changing it up to not just include the SEC - I'd still set plenty of OOC user match-ups), or I think I could start a separate dynasty if those of us left here want to keep this one going. (but I know some of us have gotten screwed from sim losses from advances in hopes of fixing the issues + recruiting issues) I think a dynasty that crosses conferences would lead to quicker advances, and getting through a few seasons before the game absolutely dies on us would be nice. And I could look for the upcoming season's rosters too. Just wanted to toss the idea out and see if anyone has any thoughts on it.

I'm definitely down with keeping this league going as-is, but keep in mind at this point we're down to me, JB, ZSB, Wreckus, Dio, and Mizzou pretty much. And I think it's fair to say that only 3 of us goons are dependable on a weekly basis. (and maybe we could see if any other goons from the other dynasties would be down for coming over? I'm not trying to advance us on a set schedule, I just want people that will remain active and will stick with us) The GroupMe guys that went on AP are more willing to come back with a fresh dynasty due to either the XP bug or because they've fallen behind due to to the server issues. I'm totally cool with just playing with you guys without changing anything since I know we all play fairly and get along fine, but the crazy player in me would love to have another dynasty that spans conferences. If y'all aren't interested, I won't bother, but since I use football games as part of my exercise routine I like to be able to rely on having games (CPU or not) more than once per week. I would definitely agree with everyone starting at a high XP level, since I think that lessens the blow quite a bit if we somehow stumble onto new people who want to join if they get bit by the XP bug.

#2 LSU over #8 Auburn, 41-21. I was so loving drunk when we started I didn't think I had a chance in hell, but my defense pulled off some great interceptions that allowed me to pull off the big win. Wreckus is always a tough match-up for me, but I think I've got a great team here (looking your way JB!). I'm advancing us now.

WEEK 10 Things do seem back to normal now guys. If web stuff isn't working for you, try deleting files/re-installing the game. I did some clean-up of my files before everything started working again (deleted all files for dead dynasties, etc). I know JB said he did that too, but things are definitely working for me and word on OpSports seems to corroborate that people are having success now. The only user game we have with non-AP'd players is - #2 SCar (JB) @ #4 Mizzou Byes for goons are Tenn/ZSB. Everyone else has a CPU/AP game to play. I am planning on starting up a new dynasty to get our lost players back into the mix, so I'll invite anyone here who wants to be in it. But I'll keep this dynasty going too. Cause I wanna CRUSH South Carolina. edit - I went ahead and set up a new dynasty with the new rosters (hopefully they're good - I didn't really check it much), base level 20 for coaches, and mostly suggested settings from OpSports. No restrictions on teams or anything like that. If you want to join, great - I'll create a new thread for it if it looks like it will work out. I didn't invite all goons that play, for instance slywalker, but if it looks like people start joining, I'll send out more invites. Okay, let's try to rock through the rest of this season and get to season 4 - I think Dio, ZSB, and Wreckus all got screwed a bit this season, and it's pretty much a lock that it's going to be LSU/SCar in the SECCG (especially now that Mizzou has been MIA - not sure if either of us have any non-AP'd user games left on our schedules). Giving Mizzou til tonight to at least respond to let us know what his availability is, then he'll go on AP. So Dio and Wreckus, if y'all could get your CPU games in this weekend, that'd be great - but can definitely wait a few days if you need it. (so they'd secure spots to prevent the XP bug for when they can play - I know Nick is in school and in some heavy research right now which is why he's been AWOL) But obviously those spots will go to others first - I just told them I'd let them know before starting it if we had any openings.
