those dumb things are probably my favorite part of the series. i like the video where a hacker made his character shoot out 100 of them a minute, and he just followed people around with them.

I'm glad I was able to find a physical copy of KF4 because, last time I checked, the iso has a game-crashing bug when emulated Play Shadow Tower: Abyss. It takes some shifts in mindset to get the hang of it -- status effects are everywhere but curatives are pretty easy to get, treat equipment like temporary consumables because of how fast it degrades, avoid hoarding poo poo because your bag fills up quick -- but it's got much more natural controls than KF and battle mechanics with better flow. It's such a weird, hostile game, I love it. i tried shadow tower abyss awhile back, the intro was cool and then i got to the hub and had no drat idea what to do and stumbled into a room where a big thing murdered me in 2 hits
