you know while we're at talking about space games is it only me who just doesnt "get" galactic civilizations? i heard all this hype and about how awesome it was and got it some years back and it was just bland as gently caress

the unit design thing was ok on paper but really limited in execution, the only real customization you actually get out of it is picking the two abilities otherwise you pick the best reactor, and then the best weapon if its an attacker or the best armor if its a defender, having both weapons and armor makes it cost a poo poo ton to build
