Wreckus, if you'll be on any time today, let me know. You logged on literally right when my wife called me to tell me she was on the way home last night, and it's tough to tell her I'm going to play a game for close to an hour after she gets home from a day of work + class. (she actually graduates with her MBA soon, which is great - but I have enjoyed the night classes for getting in my internet footballs)

ZSB, if you think you just need to sim our game, go ahead. I would like to play, since I need any win I can get to help with recruiting (not that beating Wreckus is a given of course), but I know we need to get things moving too.

Tonight/tomorrow night my wife gets home late (meaning a little after 9pm Eastern). But if I can tell her in advance that I have a game to play, it's much easier to swing than waiting til she gets home and asking her if it's cool.

#8 BC beats #7 GT, 31-28. It was back-and-forth, I thought I had it in the bag after going up 14-3 early on (with a wild 80+ yard QB option run TD), but Wreckus never gave up. My QB's lack of passing abilities caught up to me in the second half, but my non-QB running game finally kicked in which got me the lead with about 3 minutes left in the game. But after BC managed to score and get the lead back with somewhere around a minute left, I ended up throwing a pick trying to make it down the field quickly, which sealed it up.

Going to knock my game out today. I gave it one attempt over the weekend that ended up not saving properly, then had to bail on the 2nd attempt (was "playing for way too long" lol). Didn't have any issues advancing SEC or doing my recruiting there this morning so I'm feeling good about it today.

It's still working for me today even. Absolutely everything is working on the web for me.

Maybe reset all your poo poo and then clear your cache/etc from your browser and try? Seems weird that I've been having no trouble now 3 days in a row if you're still having problems.

There is no guarantee that picking a previously-unused team will result in you not getting the bug. We've definitely tried that before.

Sometimes, you get the bug, sometimes you don't.

I joined a dynasty in its season 2 and picked a previously-user-controlled team and did not get the XP bug. But I got the bug here and I don't think anyone had GT before I did in this incarnation.

I've had the bug in this dynasty since I started and unless people have backed off recruits without me asking just to be nice, or unless ZSB has done anything behind-the-scenes that I don't know about (we had talked about boosting some of my guys once when I felt like the bug was holding me back too much recruiting-wise, but I never followed up on it), I'm just cruising along, bout to upset UNC for the second time in this dynasty and make my way to the conference championship here for the first time.

You won't believe this one crazy hack I found for recruiting..

IT WORKS!

If you don't think you'll catch me on one, I would appreciate you backing off completely though - I think I could free up some recruiting points on at least one of them where it's just you and me and then a big gap, which would be helpful for things like the aforementioned scouting.

I can't let up at all if you're on them since you gain 200 each week on me - even if the visits for me are still coming, that's maybe 2-3 weeks of additional recruiting points on your end that would probably cover it. No biggie though. I think they know they are ballers.

Everyone else back to having some kind of EA website issue? I can still recruit and do most things, but the initial screens for each dynasty (the stories, with video highlights) come up blank. I also have to choose the platform when I login, which for me only has 360 as an option since I never played online NCAA before the 360.
