Meow Meow Beans is the best episode and so is Black Mirror's Nosedive. It was written by Michael Schur and Rashida Jones so I'm pretty convinced that the similarities are intentional.

She praises Glover a *lot* in that passage so I can't imagine the two have any kind of problem.
