Most assumed Marty Scurll was that unnamed person, and Konnan confirmed it. I will get screamed at on Twitter during some TripleMania card announcement when AAA mentions him in a match; it’ll be quite a time. For years CMLL streamed 3 shows per week on youtube with basically zero problems. They switched to a few different iPPV solutions and had lots of problems but had it mostly working recently. Last week they switched to a youtube subscription plan with some kind of expensive tiers. The first show was a not good Tuesday show that kept crashing. Friday went great. Tonight is Reyes Del Aire one of CMLL's coolest matches. The stream keeps randomly switching to fast forward. I don't know how that is even possible for a live stream.

Tonight's CMLL show is an all women's show, which could will be interesting in a lot of ways, but hopefully it draws well and the matches come together OK. The women's division is still very very uneven so some of the matches could be disasters, but the main event should be very good at least. That Lucha Libre Elite show with Park vs Rush did end up happening. It took me a bit to watch the fan cam of the match because I had a feeling it wouldn't be on the level of their stuff pre COVID, and it wasn't. I don't think it was Park being older, I think they just saw it as a chance to try to get more matches out of someone, I guess AEW? It was still violent, especially park carving up rush on the outside, and I thought park can still move and bump incredibly well for someone who is 58 and has been wrestling for 40 years. It's funny to watch him run because he clearly can't move well, but he puts a lot into the running so by the time he's across the ring he's going fast. He's not slacking.
