Oh hey, this is a cool thread! I never played 2nd edition (or any other edition of 40k), but I did get Advanced Space Crusade. New, for my birthday, when I was living in the UK, way back in probably 1991. There is an additional board for ASC in White Dwarf # 134... I bought two copies when it came out, so I could cut the board out of one, and have the other copy complete. So my ASC game box still has that additional board, that I glued to a piece of cereal box. I'm pretty sure I convinced a buddy to play a couple games with me, but not more than that. I also have HeroQuest and Advanced HeroQuest, plus the AHQ expansion. I know this is a 40k-focusd thread, but it'd be cool to cover those here too, since they don't seem to rate much attention in the Specialist Games thread.
