last week in class we were told to start working on a bipedal model for rigging in the second part of the semester. I asked if it could have an animal's head and fur. No one laughed. In that moment I was genuinely disappointed with my life. If you can't joke about furries with non-artists and you can't joke about furries with artists, then who the gently caress anyway my point is there are questions that need to be answered like would Inspector Gadget's dick be mostly flesh or mostly robo what would sexbot anus look like

For critique I'd stick with still images. If you want to stream with other artists, Twitch has a creative category. Real-time advice is a nice thought, but the occasional corrections are just as good. Plus you need to allow yourself to make mistakes in the first place. Watching an artist real-time is very time-intensive for the critic anyway.

This is a bipedal model for a rigging class. I don't like being another dude with a naked woman but I need the motivation. So yeah, we were given a choice of any bipedal and I picked one of the most hyper sexualized video game characters I could think of. For now I'm just getting the proportions right. I'll need to go back through and fix the topology. I don't know how geometry will deform yet and I really should get around to learning basic topology techniques.  She has a set of arms with wings that come from her head. I'm really looking forward to rigging that, and animating it. Texturing, too. This is going to be a lot of fun. poo poo.     subdividing once to get rid of the jaggies, and smoothing the mesh will look good at this level. I also don't know how to subdivide the face and will need to look at a model by someone who knows what they're doing. I'd really prefer to avoid the aborted alien fetus eye look that is so prevalent.

hmm? Oh, no I was going for that solid form of the hair, and then just some green just because. I wanted her face to be framed in solid black. I turned spacing all the way down (to full) and kept flow / opacity all the way up What do you mean by density? I'm unfamiliar with that setting.

that's not quite how I'd execute a sex-appeal character, but it's still an accomplishment. My basic sentiment regarding criticism in this case is 'can you do better.' I happen to disagree with you once again I guess, and I'm going to buy that game because I think $15 is a fair value for how glorious it is. It's very amusing to me when people get righteous about morals over tits and rear end [specifically: objectified women] in a video game when that poo poo sells. Again I'm going to buy a copy of this game because I believe in what it is and I don't have the same hang-ups as other people apparently.
