Im pretty sure the dude is talking about real women too and not shittily drawn huge titty anime women and/or robot women that were drawn by men to be jerked off to by other men so I don't see how it applies here at all

if the best you can do is unrealistic giant boobs maybe you shouldn't have a job where you are in charge of character design

I'm a lesbian I love boobs of all shapes and sizes. but if all you can draw are women with giant tits you're probably a lovely artist who has some messed up views on women! maybe expand your horizons and look at actual real women and stop looking just at bad hentai?

I like how the fandom took widowmaker, a pretty dumb character, and made her extremely good, and gay. she also has smaller boobs as far as video game ladies go and they look like mine and I enjoy that I hate when people draw her with big ol titties it's very no bueno

her default skin is pretty bad but that's why cool kids use her huntress skin lol jk cool kids don't play widowmaker at all she's awful

Elsa posted:Troposphere, what are they wearing? Can you link me outfit examples the thing I like about the overwatch women's designs is that even though widowmaker and tracer are both skinny they still have differences in their body types. all the ladies are varied and cover a fairly wide spectrum which is rare and nice to see

Scribblehatch posted:Yes, it's her outfit from Strong World, a movie where everyone is tacked with this ludicrously garish outfit. Look up some of the others. That image itself was someone's tracing of it. lol yeah as we all know having to make art fast makes you draw all your women like horrible barbie abominations and oh no I chose a vector art tracing of a photo that somehow invalidates it somehow...except she looks exactly the same in all the other pics I posted. I wasn't even talking about her outfit I was talking about her proportions. which they kept ridiculous for the movie despite not having the time constraints of the manga

you can enjoy something and also acknowledge its flaws and that is something you have to do often if you want cool strong female characters doing cool things, unfortunately I have a lot of issues with overwatch re: bad character design choices but it's so rare to find cool ladies with various body types and races being badass that I'm willing to forgive them. blizzard also seems to be listening to criticism(with the inclusion of an older woman character) which is nice

female gaze is absolutely a thing in stuff like yaoi which also weirds me out tbh because it's usually straight women objectifying gay men and that's not cool either imo
