I only somewhat recently realized that the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Black Eyed Peas weren't the same band. I had never heard an RHCP song and known it before

I only became aware of them through learning how to play the bass and no one would shut up about Flea. He is in fact a pretty good bassist but I'll reserve judgement about the rest of the band
