What a childish tactic!
Don't you think you should put more thought into your battleplan?!

Man, that cockpit for the F-35 in this game reminds me of this old school flight/space sims.

Half your view needlessly taken up by a display panel you could get away with just glancing down at occasionally when needed.

We're at the end of the game already? I was hoping for more wonderful aircraft snark :(

I vote for 5-A, because between the F-22 and the F-35 I know which one I want.

I vote 5B. The "mystery aircraft" is too tantalising a prospect to pass up!

And I knew the F-35 had severe problems, but not anything quite that bad. :stare:

5B and I'm tempted to ask that we get the Super Hornet for it, but I have to see you make a vertical carrier landing in the F-35. :D

How did that F-35 take off in vtol with the central lift fan missing? :psyduck:

Edit: Nevermind I saw it after rewatching. It was kind of hard to make out the details what with being a ps2 and an unagile camera.

After that embarrassment with the F-35, I say you could use a break. Bring an F-22 to an air-to-air mission like 3-2-A. Also let's see if Wombat is right. Bring an F/A-18 to, say, 4-3-A and shoot down some Flankers with it.

That final cutscene was not nearly anime enough, and doesn't contain any cheesy music with sickeningly cheerful lyrics.

Are there any missions where its feasible to use the A-10's gun on anything or would that just get you dead via missile/boredom?

You say "this isn't a sim, this is an Area 88 reenactment!" like it's a bad thing.

Although if it were an Area 88-inspired sim, wouldn't they give you stuff like F-8s, F-5s, and F-20s?

The old anime had a scene with Harriers hovering in ambush.

The existing Area 88 game did give you an F-20

2-3C is the very last carrier mission, which of the three scurvy dogs do we fly in it?

Also, the F-15 still doesn't have a video unlocked and there are only three AA missions left: 2-2B, 3-2A and 4-3A.

Have you considered going into voice work, Selenic? I could listen to you comment snarkily as the AEW officer in a planes game all day.

Also, might as well X-35 for the scenario 2-3-A mission, if you unlock something with that.

If an old ebay listing is to be believed a single dispenser housing 30 cartridges of whatever is small enough to be fitted anywhere but the pilot's armpits.

All three PS2 Ace Combats have annoying emulation issues. They might get fixed in the future since the graphics plugin coder has made a comeback.
