Ashley Barnes has just been sent off for Burnley for a second yellow. Dont think he shouldve gone though - it was an absolutely nothing challenge in the middle of the pitch right before half time. Its a silly foul but its never a booking, regardless of whether hes already on a yellow. Refs are so poo poo.

You could argue the first YC wasn't funny deserved since there was no contact and all, but Barnes shouldn't be making tackles like either of them in the first place. He really brought it on himself.

Maybe, but I do think refs are still always took quick to start pulling out the yellows (although Im relieved he only showed Mirallas yellow for his challenge because that couldve been red)

Cant believe how much I hate watching us play now aswell. Even against ten men we're just disappointing. This season has been such a let down :(

I agree, for early or first time offenses a warning would really be sufficient. Get the captain involved so the rest of the team knows, then start booking them if they keep making poo poo tackles. Mirallas is a pretty dirty player with some of the challenges I've seen him put in. He's lucky he doesn't get sent off more often.

Yeah hes got a really nasty side to him. He always starts leaving his foot in when he gets frustrated.
