I've dug myself deep enough into idol culture and general k music that I'd like a cheap and easy way to enjoy the product that doesn't necessitate illegally downloading countless albums.

You have to have a Korean phone number or an i-pin to purchase a subscription. The only known workaround is to pay with itunes credit on an iphone or ipad but I only use android phones.
