I'm blindly in for the season pass again even though I haven't played a single DLC multiplayer map in the past 2 CODs.

The ratio of PS4 to XB1 from the previous game is irrelevant. More than one PS4 player, during the life of that COD, acquired an XB1 and purchased a second copy of the game for it. I don't believe the other direction occurred. I project many more XB1 players this time around making it a significant majority. I'm sure one of Stu'a graphs could better illustrate my point.

Sweet. I don't have to register anything.Preorder FAQ posted:7. I’ve pre-purchased my copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops III through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store, or Steam, but I didn't receive a Call of Duty: Black Ops III Beta code. Where can I locate my code?

In response to Ven's sprint cancel survey post, I searched my email, launched the survey, and wrote paragraphs of eloquently delivered diatribe about my Bl3ps grievances. Headlined by the need for sprint cancelling, I also chastised VSAT being too easily countered, domination rounds existing, the riot shield exclusion, the absence of support streaks, and all of the specialist weapons and abilities only benefiting the individual and not the team. I felt so proud to submit that survey. Then I scrolled down and saw Hackan's post about implementation impossibilities due to sprint reload always being a thing. Now I'm ashamed.

Yeyo, submit and I'll make the necessary changes. Your fanfic is too beautifully written to lose.

Happy Noodle Boy posted:Prestige tokens were great. Unlocking gear were great. There was nothing better than watching Spoon try to get all the riot shield camo kills. 10,000 assists would be quicker than 100 kills outside of hardcore.

Introduction to Bl3ps Zombies (work in progress) It’s time for our annual Call of Duty Zombie/Alien/Vampire/Unicorn mode debriefing! This time around, we’re given player progression very similar to multiplayer. As for the on-disc map, it plays out like a mixture of the Blop2 DLC maps: Mob of the Dead & Origins. We also get one of the best returning maps as day-one DLC, The Giant. Player XP You get Zombies Player XP for doing anything in a Zombies game just like you get Multiplayer Player XP by doing anything in a Multiplayer game. You will notice XP numbers popping up when you survive rounds (increasingly) and make purchases (guns/perks/barriers). As your player levels up, you unlock weapons in your Zombies Gun Kit. You can level up faster by completing Zombies Challenges, just like in multiplayer. Once you complete level 35, you can Zombie Prestige and start over! Gun Kit and Gun XP For the first time in CoD horde mode history, you can customize your weapons! Customization includes camo, paintjobs, optics, and up to 5 (five) attachments. The optics and attachments available for a gun are determined by the individual gun’s XP level. Gun levels max out when they have no more optics or attachments to unlock (KN is maxed at level 14). You can only start earning XP toward a gun after you’ve unlocked that gun through your Zombie Player level. This is slightly misleading because you can still earn camos for a gun whether it is unlocked or not since it’s done through player challenges. Keep this in mind when choosing a weapon in-game! At level 1, the only weapon you have unlocked is the bowie knife (and you can only add camo to it). The Vesper is a level 3(?) unlock and can be purchased off of the wall in-game, so I would recommend leveling it up early. The KN unlocks at player level 7 and it an awesome wall gun. I tend to apply an obnoxiously bright camo to all of my unlocked guns so that I can easily identify them in-game. P.S. The Locus has an iron sight attachment at gun level 5! That's all I feel like writing today. I'll continue to edit this post with more sections as I complete them. Feel free to ask questions in the meantime.

Zaphod42 posted:How do I access The Giant? I don't seem to have that map. The Giant is DLC. I bought the season pass so I was able to to go the in-game store and download the map. It does not download automatically and it is not free. As for all of the other questions, a write-up will take time. Here are some quick points: Beast Mode: Each person can enter beast mode once per round by hitting one of the cursed statues (purple glowing). Each cursed statue can only be hit once per round. If your teammate hits one that round, you have to find another one to use that same round. Beast mode is used to unlock components of the map. The perk machines need to be powered on by the electric stun attack. Chained crates and barriers need to be bashed by the melee attack. Eagle sconces need to be grabbed by the grappling attack (these are used to get you into normally inaccessible areas). Actually interacting with zombies in beast mode is useless What to do? Either make progress toward unlocking the Pack-A-Punch machine by doing the rituals or don't bother and just hold out as long as you can where you're comfortable. As for explaining the rituals, that will take a lot of time that I don't currently have (each one requires several tasks in beast mode to set up).
