I was about 6 month in, working as a teller at a credit union, small, about 5 branches. When I was bored I would explore the network storage drive, finding pictures of cute coworkers from last year's halloween party and such. Well one time I found a folder with HR info in it, such as all of the name/address/phone number/social security numbers of the employees in the 401k plan. Everyone, from teller up to CEO. I thought "there must be restrictions that it wouldn't let me copy this to the PC I was using" So I tried, it took awhile but it copied to my PC. Then the IT department did a remote access to my PC, where it takes over the mouse and clicks around. I furiously move the mouse around to try and take control back. I regain control and I delete the folder. I have a sinking feeling all day and the next day. I really needed this job. About a week later there is a company wide email "don't access anything on the network drive that doesn't concern your job." Another week after that and most of the folders became private.
