Wheat beer is naturally opaque, and bottled wheat beer often has sedimented yeast at the bottom of the bottle, which you can swirl back into the beer while pouring for extra goodness. You're right in that it's a kind of beer that doesn't take well to bottling. It's fine if you like kristall, but it is a perversion of wheat beer.
