Aye of course! Rs29s will need bedding anyway. What's the point of the coating on the disc? Just so they don't rust in transport?

Also can anyone explain why people witter on about dust seals? It seems like even if they had seals, they'd burn off after hard track use? Also what's the best way to keep them clean? Surely not full disassembly every month?

Oh wow, so they straight copied a set of ap's lol thats well cheeky. Yea I recon its harder to get a caliper wrong, especialy if you just copy someone elses.

My front calipers dont have dust seals either and the same caliper has seen use on rallycars, TVR Challenge and various e30 sprint cars. Very few people have needed new seals, I had a look recently when I was bleeding the brakes and they look fine. I dont realy drive it that much though and even less in the winter so ymmv.

My old car started to rot from the inner part of the sills, visualy it looked fine but there would be a brownish deposit over the rear wheel every time it rained. Then I realised I was able to bust through the inner part of the sill with a screwdriver. S-Bodies are even worse for this apparently, which is why I will probably never own one lol.

I realy wish the uk would stop salting the roads and introduce winter tyre laws instead, but everyone would qq about having to buy another set of tyres. Not like most of europe has to do that anyway.

Bedding in the carbotechs was something like do a few 30 to 5 mph stops, then if everythings ok do several 70 to 5mph stops to get some heat cycles into the pads making sure not to come to a complete halt. Something like that anyway.

Have you considered buying a car with superior double wishbone suspension, such as a 500 quid rusty mx5.

Srsly tho is that on the treadblocks or the shoulder I cant tell with all the muck on it.

Lol yea thats the guy, every time I read his threads i'm like drat he just fixes everything at the track lol. I'd def do bedford again but I feel like youd love donnington, bit more dicey but some lovely fast sweepers and nice amounts of elevation. Aren't you in the midlands? Shouldn't be too bad for you to get to either.

I've got to go back to scotland, so many nice roads tho i'm well jell.
