 Because compared to pretty much the rest of the world, we have pretty much achieved the greatest social change. It's just which parts of our own society that have not advanced as much as other parts. Eg. Comparing Utah to Mass, or conservative Wyoming to liberal SoCal.

IMHO, we need to stop giving as many fucks and relax a bit more.
