Superstore sounds like the only pitch even somewhat not-completely-awful

You me and the end of the world's byline is so desperate to make people like it, it's maybe the most faux-earnest byline i've ever read

shades of blue sounds like kind of a decent idea if it 1) doesn't push the "Single mother" angle as super hard as it so obviously is going to 2) didn't have jennifer lopez starring

like, shades of blue could work as a female-centered network version of the shield except with the conceit of vic mackey having been caught in the pilot and being forced to turn on his crew but i guaran-loving-tee you it'll be about a good-guy cop mom with her ethically challenged but generally good-guy cop friends doing the lightest of grey area crimes and the reason she does it will be presented as a SINGLE MOM WHO JUST WANTS WHAT'S BEST FOR HER KID

What's the deal with Last Man on Earth? I saw a bunch of previews for it but until this thread I literally didn't know the show had even aired.

it aired, the pilot blew everyone away, and then the subsequent episodes chipped away at its own really intriguing premise until it became this repetitive bore about the single worst person in the universe constantly loving up and saying "sorry"

Glory to Mankind.

Also it repeated premises constantly, and this was in a 13 episode first season

like it's crazy that it had very little in the way of a greater narrative ambition outside of stressing over and over how much of a horndog everyone was
