But that would mean that the basic 20something white girls that make up the entire audience of that zombie of a show will make endless Facebook statuses about how they can't even now that it's gone forever. Although even that audience is starting to turn on Grey's Anatomy, so Shonda Rhimes might as well pull the plug while there are still eyes on it. It's OK, she'll get yet another show from it- she's as vital to ABC now as Seth MacFarlene was to Fox a couple years ago. Might as well call ABC "Lifetime on network TV."

That being said, I will watch the poo poo out of The Muppets.

"Boondoggle" and "pull the wool over one's eyes" have a bad racial background to them too, but guess what- people still use them. If you got a problem with it, write a thinkpiece on your Tumblr about it. Can we go back to Muppets hype now?

Ronald Reagan, ever the disgusting racist piece of poo poo, used the term "strapping young buck" on the campaign trail back in 1980 at the beginning of a story that was meant to rally other racist pieces of poo poo to vote for him. I forget exactly what it was about, but if it's anything like the infamous "welfare queen" story, it was based completely on hearsay.

Also, a "buck" is a male deer so it might be derived from there too.
