I do know that if it's a number other than 4, it's probably something that was kicked out of 4chan, which doesn't usually lead to good things. 8chan split from 4chan because 4chan finally amended it's TOS to actually have DMCA provisions during the whole celebrity pictures leak instead of relying on whatever would have gotten DMCA'd being kicked off their servers within an hour of posting due to the high volume.
