I think he's wondering if there will just be one button to draw your weapon and the game automatically draws whichever is appropriate for the fight. It kind of already did this in TW2, though, in that if you didn't already have a weapon out Geralt would automatically draw whichever was appropriate when combat started. I think that mechanic is good enough. You might want to draw a different sword for some reason or need to switch in combat, especially in an open world game.

Not telling your customer base about it, and it only becoming known when a developer leaks it a day ago with videos that have been deleted from youtube, while a major manufacturer relishes the fact that their sales will go up based on the need for that greater graphic fidelity that won't exist? ? *IS* CDPR's fault. I am sorry that you have someone missed the massive marketing blitz CDPR has done for this game over the past few weeks that has included multiple trailers, letting YouTube personalities play the game and record it, and lifting the review embargo a week early. Perhaps if you had seen all of that, it would have given you an idea of the visual fidelity of this game.

What do you want, a big text wall from CDPR explaining how development works and how stuff gets changed all the time in development due to stability, etc? Do you want a bullet point list of every single change they had to make since development began about things that got dropped or ended up not 100% as planned? That's insane.

There are a bunch of reasons, and one of them is that it's easier to light a staged scene than it is make sure an open world game looks super cool and cinematic from every angle in every lighting condition. What I meant was that I've even read some stuff from people in this thread who either don't care or don't think there was a downgrade saying that certain screenshots look worse or cartoony or something, and to me it mostly just looks like the color correction is different. So I'm out of town at the moment and don't really know my PC's specs off the top of my head, but I was able to run Witcher 2 on it with no issues. Even with the downgrade is Witcher 3 going to be so much more intensive than 2 that my machine bursts into flames? I'd rather not have to go out and get a new console just for this, but it's one of the few games that would motivate me. (Sorry to interrupt the arguing)

With the new info, you will be fine with a 570/670 and 4 gb Ram and set it to high settings.

As I said I am not saying the game sucks, I cant wait to play it. My beef is with why they held back information on the PC version. Just loving admit they hosed up and move on already. Holy poo poo.

I'll be honest, my brother kind of set it up for me when I wanted to get more into modding some of my games so I don't know a whole lot about specifics. Like I said though it ran Witcher 2 and pretty much every other recent game just fine on high settings so I was wondering if this is such a drastic change that it can't handle it. But I realize that's kind of vague so if that's impossible to really say, it's fine. I'm not going to be in line on release day or anything. I'm mostly hoping I can run it so I can wait on the consoles a little longer and not have to drop $450-something or other on this.
