I use Better Torches for torch use on horseback. With RT on these forests are dark af. The quest objectives mod got an update yesterday. And then names from the path and grammar of the path. I might add a few more tonight.

Got to the Crones on death march and it hasn't been too difficult yet. Was thinking maybe the Ciri sections would trip me up but they haven't been bad. I might be overleveled a bit though as I'm doing every quest in the game, even the unmarked ones. Having a blast though. So glad I'm playing this again.

One tip is to dodge rather than roll. I don't think I've rolled once in this playthrough. I love the combat though. Mixing up light attacks with heavy and especially using quick casting signs. I need to use bombs more, I never use those.

You fight a werewolf for the Hillock quest. I think I had that bestiary unlocked from a book maybe? I can't remember. They are a lot easier once you find the correct oil to use.

I just like how funny a lot of the writing is. Like how bloody baron got his moniker because some red dye fell into a river and people thought it was blood. He has a really funny interaction with Geralt about that.

Did the Sigi treasure quest last night and the interaction between Geralt and Djikstra had me rolling. I love how sarcastic they are to each other. Just such a well written game. Can be almost crying at some points and 5 minutes later laughing your rear end off.

Turns out my 8700k Cpu was the bottleneck in Novigrad. Upgraded to a 13700k and get pretty much a locked 60 now with RT on. There seems to be some sort of a memory leak maybe? It'll run fine for an hour but after that It just gets steadily worse. Hopefully the patch they are working on fixes some of this stuff.
