I know I've played this, but I don't remember backdashing...ever. I think I just jumped out of the way of stuff constantly v vCool LP, great voice, looking forward to the rest of it!

Pretty sure that was three level-ups in that video. I thought it was sort of an interesting design choice to have the boss protecting the slide move be one that would've been made trivial if you already had the slide move going in, as opposed to the usual "Here's a new thing, and here's an enemy specifically weak to it to try it out on!"
