It's time! Can't wait to see how this LP turns out. EO3 is such a much better game than EO2, it really was a quantum leap in quality for the franchise. Now, for business...time to submit a character! Lily, Buccaneer, Portrait 2 (Alt) Once a pirate captain of the high seas, Lily Vandemont lost her ship and crew to a terrible storm two years ago. Since then, she's lived life as a sellsword, using her considerable skills and panache to get by. Serious, disciplined and graceful, she's unusually devoted to the pursuit of exploring the labyrinth, and seems to have her own reasons for exploring its depths. Usually focused, composed and skilled at coordinating her crew (though she's not above stinging her comrades with wicked barbs to get them to shape up), when the stakes are high she shows a wilder side. She might enjoy challenges and danger a little bit too much... (TL;DR: Since there's so many loonies submitted to the guild, have a straight woman who can sort and  them all out! The best comedy always has somebody to ground it down a bit, after all.)--- As for the guild's name, since we're gonna be nautical murderhobos, let's honour the King of Pirates and name our guild Mompracem. And let's go with LPer's Choice for our beginning. As far as votes go in case we have to go democracy, I say...Buccaneer, Gladiator, Arbalist. Either our enemies will die or we will

 Those cities the party is visiting aren't made up! They're real cities that existed once upon a time. Ayutthaya is an ancient Thailandese capital of the province of the same name, which was destroyed in 1767. You can still visit its ruins today, and they're breathtaking and full of massive temples and tall reliquary towers. There have been (and still are) many Batavias, meanwhile, but given the context provided by Ayutthaya, there's only one place the game can be referring to: the capital of the Dutch East Indies, now known as Jakarta, immortalized by the work of Dutch physician Christiaan Eijkman on the treatment of the Beriberi disease, the coops of Batavia. And needless to say, this is a hint that the world of Etrian Odyssey is none other than our own, placed here for the benefit of the well-informed and observant.
