i watched it like 3 hours ago and i feel like you guys are far enough in the film that i can say that i like the mcs friend. she's cool. visuals mostly are too, some people's eyes looked really weird on occasion and the guys are all made out of the same mold which was unfortunate. but yeah, nice visuals. lots of experimental stuff going on

The tennis matches were definitely the highlight of this for me, the amount of motion they managed to convey with relatively primitive 70's animation techniques was amazing. The rest seemed to suffer from being a condensed form of the original series and I can't say I particularly cared about anyone, Oka in particular seems to spend most of the film falling over and getting hit by balls. in peace Coachii
