It's difficult enough to write this kind of list for a single subdiscipline in philosophy, doing it for the subject as a whole is a fool's errant.

(Hobbes, Hegel, Marx, Heidegger, Sartre, Wittgenstein, Popper, Aquinas, Arendt and a hundred others will appear on this kind of list, depending on who writes it.)

And indeed, whether you care more about ethics, metaphysics, logic, politics etc.
