"Red Hood wears a hoodie" is still kind of Johnsian literalism, since hooded sweatshirts weren't really a widespread thing in the 1950s, and back then (and to a lesser extent, still today) "Hood" was used for basically a mask as much as anything. The KKK were described as wearing white hoods, there were professional wrestlers who were "wrestling under a hood", etc.

My favorite Batman Beyond moment was when everything about the series that made it recognizable was gutted and replaced by a dumb story about a dystopia starring a time displaced Tim Drake.

Oh, but Terry's Friend Dates A Robot was a good episode.

Beyond that TON of unnecessary Geoff Johns thought track, there's something building up with Scott Free and Wondie in this JL storyline.
I bet SM+WW are breaking up in SM/WW to make way for this coupling (Even though the comics seem to be in completely different timeframes. Eh.)

This thing is really the prelude to a line-wide Barda War event.

I doubt that. The 8-page preview for JL had the Amazonian oracle mentioning Barda among the list of people involved in the battle, so she'll probably make an appearance late into the story. Diana's leading role is clearly because Grail (uck) is half-Amazon and her Amazon mother is also involved to boot.
