Hey, here's where we post about, and talk about, good threads from other forums. By "good threads" I mean threads that are genuinely interesting or fun or funny, not threads that are trainwrecks or good to make fun of. Things you could do in this thread: 1. Post links to threads in other forums which you enjoy reading. 2. Talk about why you like them 3. Talk about what's happening in the threads that you like, who's saying interesting things, who's doing funny stuff. 4. Nominate them for a temporary thread exchange with a BYOB thread you think the other forum might like (like we did with CC and the draw a megaman/what's hanging on your walls threads) 5. Nominate threads from BYOB you think would be good to exchange for a while with some other forum. Things which it would be lame to do in this thread: 1. Post links to bad threads 2. Talk poo poo about the threads posted here, or posters or anything like that. 3. Plan to invade those threads or cheerlead in them or any other BYOB Is Leaking type stuff. For instance, I like this thread from D&D: SCOTUS Thread 2015: Justice Scalia attempted to respond on petitioners behalf I don't know exactly how long The Warszawa has been doing these SCOTUS threads, but I've been reading them for a few years and I always learn a lot from them and then I say the things I learn in conversation and people think I'm smarter than I am. I don't know if it's a good fit exactly but the Urban Planning thread from here is something that I think deserves a new life in another forum for a while, because it is really good and interesting and I wonder if there are other urban planner people out there who have stuff to add. |

In YLLS the climbing thread is cool and there are some good project threads in AI. People post all sorts of cool pics and vids in the climbing thread that make me insanely jealous and wanna get better at it. |

i've never even looked at e/n but for some reason i decided to check it out, i think because this thread is about other forums, and look what i found http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3721280 a really good thread about a person who lost they job, couldn't find one for 2 months and ran out of money, is generally down on their luck, also they can't turn to their family cause they're queer and their family isn't cool with that  but they have a positive attitude and seems pretty nice, and possibly just found a job after months of living on the street?!worth a read, it's long but i just turned it to show posts from the OP only and read OP posts, i wish that person the best and i hope they post in byob someday, from their comfy home  or on the clock
