Picked up the game, was very excited to use the old LP to guide me through... And then there's a whole new prologue segment! After the initial fight an old lady asked me to get her a chicken, I said OK, and found a chicken. Said chicken then proceeded to kick my face in. The game does a pretty good job of showing your dude as just a regular dude at the beginning. 10/10 would get Zelda'd by chickens again.

Okay, so just to make sure, when you write down your character's name is it Surname Givenname, or Givenname Surname?
