 notably there seems to be culture effects, one was blank but dragons can raid infidel neighbours for loot

 the horse culture and trait are different. if through shenanigans via heirs the horse gets land then the game tries to generate vassals of the same culture but doesn't take into account the horse trait for -1000% fertility
