The Thoroughbred industry doesn't really do artificial insemination, so the former yes. Starting next year anyway, hopefully we'll get to see him in the Breeders Cup before then.

Breeders Cup races are more intriguing from a competitive perspective. But obviously the Triple Crown is the pinnacle of grandeur, you need to be a three year-old to enter the Triple Crown races, and if you perform well in Triple Crown races your semen can be more valuable than your future earning capacity.
