The new OS X desktop picture seems to be El Capitan.
Would be a cute name for the OS, and sort of gives reason to hope for a "Snow Yosemite".

Sue

Ugh, search is back to left of the homescreen?

I was so happy when they moved it to a pull down.

Why is News pink?
I thought that was the music colour.

Does the UI team still know what they're doing?

Sue

I like Susan Prescott's style.
She should be on stage every Apple event.

Just give us iPad SplitView already.

The "trackpad" mode looks useful though.

The new task switcher: You can now see less of the apps than before. :sigh:

Sue

Maps had a "Back to Safari" button ... interesting.

Sue

Siri is still so slow that there's no point in using it.

Then again, I'm not a man in his 50s, making six figures a year, so I don't wear a watch anyway.

Sue

So, another yearly OS update for the fall, because Apple hasn't spread itself thin enough yet. :sigh:

Sue

Can I just get the music without the artists "engaging" with me?

Sue
Apr 1, 2008

All that connecting artists and fans ... haven't we decided that Ping was a horrible idea?

Sue

Sue

Sue
Apr 1, 2008

Apple, where's that "laser focus" that you love to tout so much?
Not in the keynote, it seems.

Sue
Apr 1, 2008

Well, at least the OS X update looks solid.

Sue
