I really liked the pilot a lot, but i'm afraid it will start to deviate from the American Psycho monologue and become some kind of hacking-superfriends-team show. I was pretty sad when Christian Slater showed up, to be honest. While I don't really have a problem with Christian Slater, I was really digging the one-character show we had going for a while, as he trudged through his hosed up gray world. If none of the other hackers are real and are just figments of his unraveling mind, this will be the best show on television. It could go either way right now but I bet it goes the boring safe route. edit: I've been trying to explain the show to my roommate, trying to get him to watch it: "It's like 'The Matrix' except Neo never meets Morpheus. He just stays at that lovely programming job and silently judges everyone." "It's like the movie 'Hackers' except they're all ugly, awkward nerds and it's filmed in gray scale."
