It reminds me of how a lot of shows on USA want to do serious drama but they lack the confidence, so they add a lot of levity and call it dramatic comedy or whatever. I like this more than most of those, though.

As to the episode, can't believe Rock wouldn't just meet with the woman for the sake of his client and friend. I'm sure that's gonna be explored, but it's really telling how he goes around lecturing everyone about not getting caught up in their own egos while he loses it whenever it comes time for him to follow his own advice. That was a very weird kind of feel-good ending but I liked it. Good to see this show's quirky side.
