Don't ask what the Mushrooms live on; only the Myconids know and they're too blazed to give you a straight answer. e; Apparently Rothe have three subspecies; the 'normal' surface Rothe that are basically just blind Musk Oxen, the Deep Rothe which live in the Underdark and communicate by flashing magical lights at each other (despite their blindness?) and Ghost Rothe which are large white Rothe that can cast spells to fly, teleport and move silently amongst other things.
